Betty Karimi Bundi worked as a housekeeper and cleaner at Masai Mara Camp in Kenya from February 2023 to May 2024, where she assisted in cleaning customer tents, lounges, and kitchens while performing daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Prior to her camp experience, she worked as a cleaner for Eagles Cleaning Services in Kenya from January 2021 to December 2022, where she handled sweeping and mopping floors, dusting and wiping down shelves, and cleaning toilets, urinals, and sinks. During this role, she sanitized shared equipment, restocked supplies like toilet paper and soap, and ensured trash and recycling were properly sorted and disposed of while adhering to local health department regulations. She describes herself as having strong teamwork skills, adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and being detail-oriented with excellent communication skills developed through her three years of cleaning and housekeeping experience.
