Meet Joan Rufino

Joan is a highly experienced nanny and househelper with extensive international experience. She spent four years in Hong Kong working with a Chinese family, where she cared for their only daughter. Her duties included dropping off and picking up the child from school, preparing her meals, and ensuring she was well taken care of. In Dubai, Joan worked for a Russian family with two children, aged 7 and 2. As their nanny, she focused solely on the children, organizing outdoor activities, playing with them, feeding them, and fostering their love for reading by telling stories and reading books. While there was a separate househelper, Joan’s attention was fully dedicated to the children’s needs. Joan also worked in Azerbaijan as both a househelper and nanny for a family with two children, aged 5 and 3. In addition to preparing their meals from morning to dinner, she would regularly take the children outside for walks and tutored them in English, helping them improve their language skills. With her experience across Hong Kong, Dubai, and Azerbaijan, Joan has developed strong childcare skills and an understanding of how to support children’s growth and learning. She looks forward to bringing her dedication and passion to a new family.
