Lydan Ecot Metillo has built seven years of experience as a housemaid and nanny across multiple emirates in the UAE, working with diverse families from various cultural backgrounds. Her career began with two years serving a local family in Al Ain, followed by two years with another local family in Ajman, before moving to Dubai where she worked for one year with a Chinese family in Dubai Hills and one year with a Lebanese family in Mirdif. Most recently, she spent one year working with a Filipino family in Sharjah, demonstrating her adaptability across different household environments and cultural preferences. Throughout her various positions, Lydan has developed comprehensive skills in both housekeeping and childcare duties. Her housekeeping responsibilities include keeping carpets and rugs clean and odor-free through shampooing, vacuuming, and applying deodorizers, along with sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to remove dirt and debris from floors and surfaces. She also handles washing windows and walls, polishing woodwork, and scrubbing toilets, showers, baths, and bathroom sinks while removing mildew and mold buildup. Her childcare experience encompasses organizing creative activities and educational games such as drawing, crafting, and puppet games, preparing children's meals and feeding them including bottle-feeding for babies, changing diapers, bathing infants, helping older children with washing and bathing, scheduling nap times, and teaching children appropriate social behaviors. She describes herself as determined, reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy, with good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both individually and in team environments.
