Meet Rebecca Ampeneh

Rebecca is a compassionate and experienced child advocate with a strong background in child development and care. She spent eight years working with children aged 0-18 in Ghana under the NGO Compassion International (Asikuma Child Development Center) from April 2013 to March 2022. During this time, Rebecca cared for over 300 children, providing a nurturing environment that supported their physical, emotional, academic, and social development. In addition to her professional experience, Rebecca has completed three years of nursing training, equipping her with valuable healthcare skills. Her expertise extends beyond her work in the NGO as she has also raised her own son, who is now 9 years old, and has been a caregiver to three adopted girls. Each of these young women has benefited from her care, guidance, and support as they progressed academically and socially. Rebecca’s responsibilities have included planning age-appropriate activities, creating nutritious meal plans, conducting health assessments, and organizing health education tailored to each child’s needs. She brings strong communication, problem-solving, and managerial skills, and is known for her adaptability and dedication. Rebecca now seeks to leverage her extensive experience in child care and development with a new family, contributing her knowledge and commitment to a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
