Meet Shadia Namuga

Shadia worked with her first family in Abu Dhabi from February 2021 to June 2023, caring for two girls - a newborn and a 7-year-old. During this two-year and four-month position, her responsibilities included cleaning, cooking for the children, engaging them in play activities, and helping the older child with her schoolwork. She provided comprehensive care that spanned from infant care to supporting a school-age child's educational needs. In September 2023, Shadia began working with her current family in Dubai, where she is contracted until November 2025. This family consists of two boys aged 4 and 8 years old. Her role continues to focus on cleaning and cooking for the children, while also organizing playdates and reading story books to them. Her experience demonstrates her ability to adapt her caregiving approach to different family dynamics and age groups, from managing newborn care alongside school-age supervision to focusing on early childhood and primary school-age activities.
