Meet Conie Mordese

Conie Mordese, a Filipino nanny and housemaid, has accumulated over 14 years of domestic work experience across the Middle East. She began her career in Kuwait from 2006 to 2012, working as a housemaid and nanny for a Lebanese family. Her responsibilities included cleaning and sanitizing rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms, performing laundry and ironing, dishwashing, organizing household items, and grocery shopping. In her childcare duties, she supervised children through feeding, bathing, dressing, and playtime, while also helping with schoolwork, reading, and creative activities. From 2014 to 2016, she worked for a Qatari family in Qatar in the same capacity, followed by two positions with Kuwaiti families in Kuwait from 2017 to 2019 and 2021 to 2025, where she continued similar housekeeping and childcare tasks. Throughout her career, Conie has prepared meals and snacks appropriate for children's ages, followed routines such as nap schedules and bedtime rituals, and supported early childhood education through teaching basic literacy and numeracy, conducting educational games and crafts, and preparing practice sheets aligned with school curriculum. She describes herself as calm and patient, especially under pressure, with strong knowledge of child nutrition and hygiene, and the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Currently based in Dubai, Conie speaks English, Tagalog, and Arabic.
