Esther Wambui Maina has built her career in domestic work over the past six years, working with families in Abu Dhabi and Qatar. She spent four years as a house maid with an Arab family in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where she washed and ironed linen frequently, prepared Arabic dishes and baked and served meals according to family preferences and dietary restrictions, and managed laundry duties including washing, drying, and ironing clothes to meet household standards. Her responsibilities also included dealing with family members' requests promptly and courteously while maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards. Most recently, Esther worked for two years as a nanny with an Arab family in Doha, Qatar, where she helped children and babies with basic tasks including washing, dressing, bathing, and brushing teeth. She built strong bonds with children by providing ongoing support, listening to concerns, resolving issues, and planning creative activities based on their needs, preferences, and parent guidance. Her role included creating exciting activities for children, monitoring their behavior and development, and communicating regularly with parents about progress and concerns while providing attentive care to ensure their safety and comfort throughout daily activities.
