Meet Hellen Gathoni

Hellen is a Kenyan nanny and housemaid with experience across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. She has worked with Saudi, Qatari, and Egyptian families, with experience in elderly care, childcare for a school-aged child, and pet care. Experience 2024–present – Egyptian family, Dubai: Cares for a 5-year-old, including preparing his lunchbox, school bus drop-off and pickup, preparing meals, and taking him to the play area. Also handles cleaning, laundry, and ironing. 2022–2023 – Cleaning company, Qatar: Worked across different households. Spent the longest period with a Qatari family of adults and one teenager, handling cleaning, laundry, and ironing. Also cared for a pet dog with a European family. 2019–2021 – Saudi family, Saudi Arabia: Cared for elderly parents, including helping them keep to a medication schedule, alongside cleaning and ironing. In her own words She says, "My work is preparing lunch for kids, cleaning, ironing, and staying with kids when not at school. I can also take care of a pet dog."
