About Irene Chagera

Irene Chagera Nakimbugwe brings over ten years of childcare experience to her work as a nanny, having worked across multiple countries and settings. From 2024 to 2025, she worked as a nanny for an Expert Family in the UAE, and prior to that spent two years working with an Arabic family in Saudi Arabia. Her extensive background also includes six years of experience with Nina Care Nanny Services in Uganda, giving her a diverse foundation in childcare across different cultural contexts and family structures. Throughout her career, Irene has developed comprehensive skills in newborn care, including feeding support for both bottle-feeding and breastfeeding, diaper changing, bathing and dressing infants, and maintaining safe sleeping environments. Her responsibilities extend to health and safety monitoring, recognizing signs of illness, administering medication under parental guidance, and ensuring baby-proofed spaces. She provides emotional and developmental support through age-appropriate activities, singing, reading, and creating routines that foster security and stability. Her household assistance includes sterilizing bottles and toys, washing baby clothes, and maintaining organized nursery spaces, while she maintains regular communication with parents through updates and detailed logs of feedings, naps, and diaper changes. She describes herself as having strong organizational and multitasking skills, with patience, compassion, and excellent attention to detail.
