Meet Jovelyn Ambona

Jovelyn worked as a housemaid and nanny with a Saudi family in Dammam, KSA from 2015 to 2017. Her responsibilities included keeping the residence clean and tidy, performing various cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming and sweeping floors, washing carpets, replacing dirty linen, and wiping down kitchen counters. She ensured a clean and tidy home environment at all times and took care of two children aged three and five years old, assisting with their needs. From December 2018 to February 2022, Jovelyn worked as a housemaid and nanny with a Lebanese family in Dubai. She was responsible for making sure all assigned areas of the home were clean, neat, and tidy, which included vacuuming, dusting, laundry, mopping and waxing floors, and changing and laundering linen. She performed heavy cleaning such as cleaning windows and furniture, kept the children's areas neat and tidy, and provided a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which the children could thrive and develop. Jovelyn speaks English, basic Arabic, and Tagalog.
