Meet Juvelyn Ramirez

Juvelyn Ramirez has worked in household management and childcare in Dubai for over six years, beginning her career with an Emirati family from May 2018 to October 2021. During this three-and-a-half-year position, she organized children's schedules and ensured timely completion of tasks such as homework, bath time, and bedtime routines. She managed household tasks including laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping to maintain an organized and efficiently running home, while also assisting in meal and snack preparation to meet children's nutritional needs. Her role included developing positive relationships with the children's parents and other family members to ensure open communication and collaboration. Since November 2023, Juvelyn has worked as a cat sitter and helper for a Canadian couple in Dubai, where she provides comprehensive pet care including feeding, watering, grooming, and bathing to maintain the cats' well-being. She administers medications as instructed, takes the cats to the veterinarian when necessary, and provides daily updates to the owners. Her household responsibilities include washing and ironing clothes, linens, and other household items, maintaining kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes and utensils, and shopping for groceries and household items within budget. She describes herself as having effective time management skills, adaptability, friendly and outgoing attitude, multitasking abilities, and being highly responsible and reliable, while speaking both Filipino and English.
