Kalkidan is an Ethiopian housemaid and cook with documented experience in the UAE, working with Arab families in Al Ain, Sharjah and Dubai. Her work has focused on running the home and cooking, including Arabic and Ethiopian dishes. She has not had childcare duties in either household. Experience 2020–2026 – Arab family, Sharjah and Dubai: Live-in housemaid and cook for a household with no children. 2012–2018 – Arab family, Al Ain: Housemaid and cook, with no childcare duties. In her own words She says her responsibilities were "strictly focused on house cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cooking meals, including Arabic and Ethiopian dishes."
