Meet Karen Dumlanos

Karen Gonnawa Dumlanos has worked extensively as a housemaid and nanny in the UAE since 2012. She began her career with a Syrian family in Sharjah from 2012 to 2013, and then spent over a decade with a Spanish family in Dubai from 2013 until August 2024. Throughout these roles, she has gained comprehensive experience in both childcare and household management, including caring for newborns, babysitting, and performing various domestic duties. Her responsibilities have encompassed a wide range of household tasks including cleaning with various chemicals and equipment, vacuuming, sweeping, toilet cleaning, laundry management, bed making, and towel care. She has also handled childcare duties, cooking, and pet care, specifically for dogs. Originally from the Philippines, Karen speaks both English and Tagalog, and is currently residing in Jumeirah 3, Dubai on a tourist visa.
