Meet Kate Boateng

Boateng Kate has worked as a nanny in Dubai for four and a half years, caring for children in three different expatriate households. She spent two years with a Canadian family, where she managed bedtime routines, maintained child safety, used positive communication techniques for behavior management, and performed light household tasks. This was followed by two years with a UK family, where she continued childcare duties while also enforcing rules, preparing healthy meals tailored to individual needs, and planning diverse activities for both indoor and outdoor play. Most recently, Kate worked for six months with an Australian family, where she supervised children during outings to parks and play spaces, maintained parent-established routines, managed behaviors through appropriate discipline, and completed household tasks related to childcare. Originally from Ghana, she speaks fluent English and holds her own freelance visa in the UAE. Her experience spans various aspects of childcare including newborn care, bathing and dressing children, meal preparation, and activity planning.
