Meet Maria Darla Jean Somosa

Darla is a 42-year-old Filipina domestic helper with experience working in Qatar, Hong Kong, and the UAE. She has cared for children in Chinese and British households, as well as provided elderly care for a Qatari family. Her childcare duties include preparing meals for children, playing with them, reading books, and teaching basic personal hygiene. She also has experience supporting families with household tasks. Experience 2024–2026 – British family, UAE: Cared for one child, prepared meals, engaged in play and reading activities, and supported the child's daily hygiene. 2022–2024 – Chinese family, Hong Kong: Provided childcare for one child and supported the family's daily needs. 2017–2020 – Qatari family, Qatar: Provided care and support for an elderly family member.
