About Mengelen

Mengelen A. Agapito has built over a decade of experience in housemaid and nanny roles across the UAE and Bahrain, starting with a housemaid nanny position with a Bahrain family from July 2014 to July 2016. She then worked as a housemaid for an Emirati family in Dubai from May 2020 to 2022, before advancing to her current role as a housemaid nanny with an Emirati/Iranian/German family in Dubai from July 2022 to 2025. Her extensive experience has provided her with exposure to diverse cultural backgrounds and family dynamics across different households. In her nanny roles, Mengelen organizes creative activities and educational games including drawing, crafting, and puppet games, while managing all aspects of childcare from preparing meals and bottle-feeding babies to changing diapers and bathing infants. She assists older children with washing and bathing, schedules nap times, and teaches appropriate social behaviors such as respect and helping with chores. Her responsibilities extend to transporting children to school and extracurricular activities, tidying play areas and children's rooms, assisting with homework, and ensuring safety during indoor and outdoor activities. She describes herself as having a high level of understanding of behavioral patterns and psychology of children, along with critical thinking and social awareness to handle difficult circumstances.
