Meet Nancy Gambiza

Nancy Gambiza brings nearly seven years of childcare experience gained through positions in Zimbabwe and South Africa, working with children across various age groups. From August 2014 to September 2016, she served as a babysitter and nanny for the Beta Family in Harare, where she managed children's personal care including bathing, dressing, and maintaining hygiene. Her responsibilities included preparing healthy meals and snacks, assisting with homework and reading, and handling light housekeeping duties such as tidying play areas and managing children's laundry. Following her Zimbabwe experience, Nancy moved to South Africa where she worked as a babysitter at Leon Daycare in Rustenburg from March 2020 to November 2023. During this three-year period, she provided comprehensive care while engaging children in various activities, maintained safety and hygiene standards, and kept parents informed about their children's daily activities. Her daycare responsibilities included changing diapers for toddlers and establishing daily routines for the children in her care. She describes herself as compassionate, energetic, patient, and nurturing, with a focus on supporting children's emotional well-being. Nancy holds a Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care from the Ministry of Education Culture Harare and is certified in First Aid.
