M.B.S Kanchana brings three years of childcare experience across Dubai and Al Fujairah, having worked with families from diverse backgrounds including German and UK households. From February 2023, she began her career as a babysitter in Al Fujairah, caring for two children aged 6 months and 6 years, where she managed school pickups, meals, and bedtime routines while designing educational activities like arts and crafts and science projects. She then transitioned to a nanny role in Discovery Garden from October 2023 to August 2024, providing full-time summer care for two children, organizing outdoor activities and local trips, and tutoring in math and reading. Most recently, she has been working with a German family in Dubai Creek Harbour as both nanny and household support staff, combining childcare responsibilities with cooking and cleaning duties. Her experience extends beyond traditional childcare to comprehensive household management, having spent 18 months with a UK family in Jumeirah where she prepared nutritious meals according to family preferences, maintained household organization, and performed daily cleaning tasks including kitchen and bathroom deep cleaning. She describes herself as compassionate, reliable, and patient, with CPR/First Aid certification and fluency in English, Sinhala, and Tamil. Her diverse skill set includes newborn care, homework assistance, meal preparation ranging from Western to Arabic cuisine, and light housekeeping tasks, making her adaptable to various family needs and household requirements.
