Meet Silvia Wanjiru

Silvia is a Kenyan live-in nanny with around six years of experience in Dubai, working with Emirati, Romanian and South African families. She has cared for children from newborn through primary-school age, managing feeding, sleep and bedtime routines, supervised play and household organisation. She is a native Swahili speaker and fluent in English. Experience 2024–2026 – South African family, Dubai: Full-time care for a baby from four to eighteen months, with feeding and bedtime routines and play at home and outdoors. 2023–2024 – Romanian family, Dubai: Daily care for children aged one and seven, alongside household support. 2019–2021 – Emirati family, Dubai: Newborn care, coordinating feeding, soothing and sleep schedules.
