Meet Sylvia Kabaga

Sylvia Kabaga has worked as a nanny and housemaid across Qatar and Dubai for six years, caring for children from newborn to toddler stages with families from diverse backgrounds. Her journey began in Qatar from 2018 to 2020, followed by three years with a Russian family in Dubai from 2020 to 2023, where she organized activities like reading and coloring, changed and bathed babies, supervised older children's baths, and assisted with homework after school. During this time, she also administered medicine under parental direction, provided transportation to activities, and maintained household duties including washing and folding towels, placing fresh linens, cleaning the home, and handling laundry and ironing. Most recently, from 2023 to 2024, Sylvia worked with a UK family in Dubai, performing similar responsibilities of caring for newborns through toddlers while managing comprehensive household tasks. She describes herself as having good interpersonal and communication skills, safety awareness for children, an eye for detail, efficiency and speed, along with empathy and sensitivity to understand children's emotions. Sylvia is fluent in English and brings her multicultural family experience to households seeking both dedicated childcare and thorough household management.
