I do home lactation visits in the comfort of your own environment, and can provide immediate assistance and personalized support. I provide guidance and support in challenges that arise with having a new baby. Some examples are latching, milk supply, nipple care, pumping, positioning and holding and emotional support just to name a few. I offer ongoing support ano connect mums with support groups as well as other resources. I truly love what I do, to me it's not just a job it's a passion. I love to empower new moms and dads to feel confident in their new role. It truly takes a village to have o baby and I really love and feel privileged to be a part of that village. • a university degree in nursing • 19 years+ of clinical nursing in labour delivery and post-partum. • 5 years of Lactation consultant Experience in clinical and hospitals settings offering breastfeeding support to countless women and their families. • 90 hours Lactation specific course • 30 hours of IBCLC specific education yearly • Passed boarded certified exam • Experience in teaching antenatal classes • Thousands of hours over the last 5 years working in clinical settings as well community home lactation consultant support. • having at 3 kids and overcoming my own breastfeeding challenges. • Recertification every 5 years
